Eddie Howe wants to block £12m Newcastle player from leaving at last minute
On the pitch, Newcastle United have started the new season in fairly steady fashion, even if they haven’t quite been at their free-flowing best.
However, Eddie Howe and his team are enduring a slightly turbulent time behind the scenes at Newcastle right now, at least in 🌳terms of the transfer market.
Howe has been up-front with hi𒈔s comments saying this has been the “most difficult” window he’s ever experienced in his career.
So far, Newcastle have failed to land their top targets, even if the likes of Lloyd Kelly and 🍬William Osula could prove stellar additions in time.
But coming into the summer, Newcastle had big aspirations, and they simply haven’t been realised amid all of the clu♛b’s struggles with PSR.
That being said, there is still time to turn things around,🐽 and Paul Mitchell aജnd his team could still be very busy in the days to come.
And it’s not just in terms of incoming deals that Newcastle will be pushing for, there’s still a couple of first-team play🌳ers on the chopping block too.
Eddie Howe now desperate to keep Kieran Trippier at Newcastle despite his wishes
As well as Miguel Almiron, Kieran Trippier has often been linked with a Ne💝wcastle exit over the past few months.
Kieran Trippier wants to leave Newcastle, not content♌ with his proposed playing chances this season.

However, arඣe now reporting that Howe is incredibly keen to keep Trippier at ꦦthe last minute.
Howe felt as if Trippier’s cameo in the 1-1 draw Bournemouth last weekend emphasised the importance of the f𓆏ull-back to this grou🦩p.
And given Newcastle are yet to receive a firm bid for the at this point, Howe is now hopeful of preve♔nting his departure.
Of course, Newcastle were wi💯lling to sell Trippier to Galata🤡saray earlier this summer, perhaps when🔯 the club had more time to sort a contingency plan.
And although Tino Livramento has been dese𝄹rvedly promoted🐈, Howe’s options would still look short at full-back were the England international to leave.
Of course, if Newcastle aren’t able to sign Marc Guehi or any of 💞their other targets in the com🦋ing days, it would make sense to stop all outgoings.
Trippier may be unhappy as a substitute, but there s🦩hould still be enough opportunities for the defender until January, when the situation can be revisite🔯d with more time to plan.
