Drameh could save Leeds millions this summer after loan spell
One Leeds United player facing an incredibly intriguing summer at Elland Road looks set to be Cody Drameh after his loan exit during the January transfer window.
It surprised many when Drameh departed at the start of the year. At the time, Leeds were continuing to deal with an injury crisis. And Drameh was one of those who had received an opportunity.

The right-back joined Cardiff City for the rest of the campaign. Many fans were baffled. But Marcelo Bielsa confirmed shortly after that he would have rather Drameh stayed at Leeds.
Drameh has been vindicated for leaving. He has been absolutely outstanding since joining the Bluebirds. He was described as ‘special‘ by the local media following his latest display for the club.

Drameh is set to return to a much-changed Leeds side this summer. Bielsa has gone. And he has been replaced by Jesse Marsch.
It would appear that the 20-year-old could face further competition for a place in the side.
that Leeds want to sign four players this summer. The Whites hope to land Brenden Aaronson, a new striker, and two full-backs as cover.
Do Leeds need new right-back with Drameh waiting in the wings?
Presumably, one of those will be tasked with trying to provide cover and competition for Luke Ayling on the right. And with that, Drameh could find himself out of the picture.
However, perhaps Marsch should actually consider ditching plans to sign a new right-back and instead put more faith in Drameh.
He is not yet the finished article. But he often did well when he featured in the Premier League. And he has shone since joining Cardiff.
Leeds are also unlikely to be working with the most extravagant budget. So any money saved on some areas will benefit in others.
It is a risk. But Drameh appears to have taken his game to the next level while away from Leeds. And if the Whites are looking for a full-back as cover, surely they would be better off sticking with what they already have.
