‘Don’t go’, ‘Shame’ – Aston Villa fans react as Manchester United reportedly line up contract for Axel Tuanzebe
, Manchester United will offer Axel Tuanzebe a new contract and give him a chance to impress in pre-season.
Manchester United’s defence was a weak point last season. And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping Tuanzebe can help fix this problem position.
Tuanzebe has spent the past 18 months on loan at Aston Villa. And his second loan spell at Villa Park ended in glory as he helped them to a play-off final win over Derby County.
The Villans are now back in the Premier League. And Dean Smith would welcome Tuanzebe back to bolster his options for the Premier League.

But Aston Villa may be forced to wait for this one. The 21-year-old is entering the final year of his contract but Man United are planning on giving him a new deal.
This would be a blow for Aston Villa’s Premier League preparations. Alongside Tyrone Mings, Anwar El Ghazi, Tammy Abraham and Kortney Hause, Aston Villa’s loan players shone in the promotion-winning campaign.
Aston Villa’s hopes of signing Tuanzebe might be over, though. Here are some tweets from Aston Villa fans discussing this.
No …don’t go …you can be a legend at the villa..and a bit part at utd

He should go out there for United in preseason and hop around on one leg clucking like a chicken. United will release him thinking he’s lost his marbles. In swoop Villa on a free. Tactics.

Sorry, but this should be a no brainer for Axel. Why go to a smaller club that’s in shambles and will have to fight off relegation when he could anchor the defense at a massive club like Villa.

Shame would love to see him at villa next season

If this is true then good luck Axel. Players and fans singing your name after the play off semi final at the Hawthorns will be a endearing memory for me. Thank you and all the best.
