Reiss Nelson thought 24-year-old teammate was outstanding against PSV last night
After a brilliant performance against PSV Eindhoven last night, Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson now seems very optimistic looking forward.
Nelson was speaking to the last night following his assist for Eddie Nketiah’s goal in the 1-1 draw.

And when discussing his own performance and his good condition, free from injury, the winger also heaped some praise on his fellow Hale End graduate.
Nelson was delighted to assist a friend in Nketiah, one who now sounds very demanding towards his wingers.
: “Yeah well that’s my guy!
“He’s on me to try and assist him a lot so I always have it in the back of my mind if I can get an area where I know he can turn and get the shot off, I will play him and he done the business today.
“I think we can go very far, the fans should be excited and everyone should be excited to watch us play in the next round.”
Of course, there must be nothing more satisfying for Arsenal fans than seeing the duo thriving on European away trips.
Reiss Nelson so impressed with Arsenal teammate Eddie Nketiah against PSV
Both Nelson and Nketiah fared very well for Arsenal against an impressive PSV side last night.
Although both sides had made changes, PSV boast a formidable record at home this season in all competitions, and Mikel Arteta will have taken positives from the performance.

Reiss Nelson in particular provided a very timely reminder of his quality for Arsenal against PSV.
The winger hasn’t had a lot of opportunities from the start this season, but showed plenty of evidence of the progress he is making.
Of course, being stuck behind Bukayo Saka is no easy feat for any player in world football.
But perhaps this performance could bode well for any period in which Saka is either unavailable or in need of a rest.
Moreover, Nketiah’s display could also prove to be a slight headache for Arteta in the coming weeks.
Despite often being linked with a move away in January, Nketiah once again put forward a case for further starts.
And perhaps Arteta will now be more willing to afford Gabriel Jesus some rests over the festive period.
