Don Hutchison urges Liverpool to consider swapping Reds star for Jadon Sancho

that he believes Liverpool should consider swapping Mo Salah for Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho ahead of the summer window, claiming if he had to sell any of the Reds’ front three – it would be Salah.

Salah, 27, joined Liverpool in the summer of 2017 from AS Roma – with many Reds fans unsure over whether he would be a hit given his failed Chelsea spell. It could not have gone much better, with the Egyptian shining in red.

Indeed, Salah has now netted 91 goals in 144 Liverpool games – laying on an enormous 37 assists. However, claims the club are interested in attackers such as Timo Werner, Kylian Mbappe and of course, Sancho.

Dortmund wonderkid Sancho is a long-term target for The Reds. Hutchison reckons swapping Sancho for Salah – who has scored 20 and laid on nine this term – would suit the Merseyside side, if they are forced into selling one of their front three.

“I think if you’re going to sell anyone and you had to sell one – don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t sell any if I was Jurgen Klopp – but if one was to go and you offered Mo Salah for someone like Jadon Sancho, I maybe would take that swap,”

TBR’s view – Would Dortmund accept Sancho-Salah swap?

Sancho is on fire for Dortmund. Despite being 20 years of age, Sancho has scored 17 goals and created 19 more in 35 appearances this season for Klopp’s former side. Losing Sancho is a blow.

But a move for the England international is inevitable. If he is to leave Dortmund, the German side will want a replacement and there are hardly any better than Salah. Surely it would be a move that would benefit all parties.

Sancho is worth £100million.
