Don Hutchison says West Ham have a player that is a ‘manager’s dream’, that will give ‘blood, sweat and tears’
that West Ham attacker Jarrod Bowen is a “manager’s dream”, after the Hammers beat Leeds.
Bowen, 24, has been excellent for West Ham. Following a tricky start since joining in January 2020, the winger has sparkled in claret and blue.
Clocking up 61 appearances for the Hammers since his move from Hull, Bowen has 20 goal involvements – scoring nine and creating 11 more.
On Saturday, it was his shot that deflected into the back of the net to cancel out Raphinha’s opener for Leeds. West Ham eventually won late on, 2-1.
Bowen’s form has been so good that he has even attracted interest from Liverpool, Hutchison was full of praise for Bowen.

“Jarrod Bowen is a player that epitomises what West Ham fans want. They see a talent in there, they see a player that will give blood, sweat and tears.
“His running stats I would imagine, every single game, are top notch. He’s never injured, he’s a manager’s dream,”
Hutchison on Bowen: How long can West Ham keep him?
The more he impresses, the heavier the interest from Liverpool will become. The Reds desperately need cover for Mo Salah and Sadio Mane.
Liverpool sold Xherdan Shaqiri in the summer, and have since seen Harvey Elliott suffer a long-term injury. Mane and Salah will jet off in January.
Both are set to represent their country at the African Cup of Nations. So, Liverpool need a signing in January and Bowen would be ideal for the Reds.
The winger is ideal, given he is likely to be happy to play back-up at Anfield. So, the better he gets, the more chance Liverpool might come in for him.
But while he is happy at West Ham, and he surely is with the Hammers in Europe, he will surely remain at the London Stadium?
