Don Hutchison says Tottenham player is no longer selfish, compares him to Bayern star

(November 24) that Tottenham’s Harry Kane has eradicated his selfish streak – and thinks the England skipper is in the same conversation as Bayern Munich ace Robert Lewandowski.

Kane, 27, has been in absolutely stunning form for Tottenham this season – and while he did not score against Manchester City during Sunday’s 2-0, he was pivotal to both goals. His movement allowed Tanguy Ndombele to find Son Heung-min.

For the second, Kane drives forward from deep and times an inch-perfect pass to Gio Lo Celso with aplomb. Now, Kane has had a hand in 24 goals in his 15 appearances this season – scoring 13 times and creating 11 more for the north Londoners.

Hutchison stated that Kane has changed his game for the better – removing the need to be a matchwinner. He also believes that the Three Lions captain should be spoken about in the same breath as £340,000-a-week () star Lewandowski.

“He’s transformed himself from a nine into a ten,” “But Harry Kane is now in the same conversation with Robert Lewandowski, to be the best in the world.

“But if you look at Premier League centre-forwards, you look at Jamie Vardy and his speed, the work Firmino does for Liverpool, but Kane – best he’s played for a while. I don’t see a selfish Kane anymore, seeing him shoot from 30 yards to be a match winner.

“He is now a team player.”

TBR’s view – Can Mourinho’s Kane tinkering take Spurs to title?

When pundits discuss Tottenham at the moment, it is the same for all. Can Spurs win the Premier League? Currently top with 20 points from nine matches, they are in fantastic form – looking solid at the back but so dangerous on the break.

It might not be that Spurs are doing anything wrong, but Liverpool still look as though the Premier League is theirs to lose. Despite their enormous injury problems, the Reds also sit on 20 points, and are only going to get stronger as players return.

Spurs have a chance, but Liverpool are favourites.
