Don Hutchison frustrated with West Ham as Michael Cuisance nears Leeds move

Former West Ham United midfielder Don Hutchison has taken to Twitter to express his frustration, with Leeds United reportedly close to signing Michael Cuisance.

, the West Yorkshire outfit have offered £18 million for the Bayern Munich star.

If the move comes to fruition, as is looking more and more likely now with personal terms also reportedly agreed, it will take the club’s spending to over £80 million this window.

Left-footer Cuisance is a hugely talented young player, whose path to regular minutes at Bayern is blocked by the likes of Leon Goretzka, Joshua Kimmich, Corentin Tolisso and Javi Martinez.

It is his hope a move to Leeds will help him play more regularly.

One man who doesn’t seem best pleased to see Cuisance heading for Elland Road is ex-Iron Hutchison, who has said on Twitter that he informed West Ham of the player’s potential a few years back.

TBR’s view – West Ham’s loss?

It looks like Cuisance could soon be unveiled as a new Leeds player.

West Ham have never been linked with the player, but it will be interesting to see how he gets on in the English top-flight.

At the moment, the Hammers could do with another midfielder with Mark Noble not getting any younger, and the energetic Cuisance might have been a good option.
