Arsenal remain in the hunt for a new striker and according to a report from , Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin would need no convincing to join the Gunners.
Calvert-Lewin is said to feature on the list of targets for Arsenal. Reports in recent weeks have once again linked the England striker with a move to The Emirates. Indeed, it has been claimed that Calvert-Lewin has seriously impressed the Arsenal coaching staff.
But while another Arsenal target, Dusan Vlahovic, is said to be unsure of a move to the Gunners, the same cannot be said for Calvert-Lewin. claims that the Calvert-Lewin is open to a move to North London and wouldn’t take any convincing, if Everton accepted a bid.

Of course, that bid could need to be around the £50m mark. But it does seem like Arsenal are willing to splash out on their next number nine.January is already kicking into gear for a lot of Premier League clubs. Arsenal are expected to challenge for the top four, and Mikel Arteta could well be backed. Calvert-Lewin has recently returned from injury at Everton.
TBR’s View: Calvert-Lewin Is Ideal For Arsenal If Vlahovic Is Out Of Reach
Calvert-Lewin is probably ready to make the next step in his career now. He’s done very well for Everton but under Rafa Benitez, they are struggling. He impressed Carlo Ancelotti, who Re the Englishman as ‘fantastic’ last year.
Him being open to Arsenal should get the alarm bells going at The Emirates. Calvert-Lewin would be ideal in the middle of the Arsenal attacking quartet. The idea of him leading the line with the likes of Saka, Smith Rowe, and Odegaard behind him is mouth watering for the Gunners.
Calvert-Lewin is an exceptional striker with plenty of room to improve too. He brings goals, pace, strength, and more to the cause. And even at £50m+, he’d be a bargain.
