Saka on Bellingham

Bellingham is the name on everyone’s lips right now and when Saka was asked about him, he said: “In our team, there’s another young player who is doing unbelievably well in Jude Bellingham.

“He’s a special player. I don’t really know the words to describe him.

“I just hope he can continue to keep progressing because he has a massive, massive future.”

Gareth Southgate has tweaked England’s midfield setup during the tournament to give Bellingham more licence to break forward since the 0-0 draw with the United States.

That has worked to good effect in England’s last two matches, which have been 3-0 wins in games which could have been tricker than they were made to look.

Bellingham does his share of defensive work though, and will be an absolutely vital part of the team which looks to beat France at the weekend in a game where a victory really would get the country dreaming.
