‘Does exceptionally’…Ally McCoist admits he didn’t realise how well £32m Newcastle player did vs PSG
Ally McCoist admitted that he did not initially give Tino Livramento enough credit for the opening goal Newcastle United scored in their Champions League tie with Paris Saint-Germain.
McCoist was speaking on (broadcast on 28/11; 20:28) while watching a replay as Alexander Isak gave the Ma🌟gpies the lead on their massive trip to the French capital.
Tino Livramento played a key role in t♐he opening goal. The 21-year-old did brilliantly to find Miguel Almiron on the edge of the PSG box before the attacking midfielder had a strike on goal.
Ally McCoist praises Tino Livramento after Newcastle goal
Livramento picked the ball up on the left flank, before weaving through a number of challenges. At one stage, it✤ appeared that the youngster may🎃 look to have an attempt on goal himself.

Howe🉐ver🐽, he played the ball to Almiron. A clever run from Lewis Miley gave the Paraguayan the yard of space to get the shot away.
Gianluigi Donnarumma did not deal with the effort well, parrying the ball right into the path of Isak. And the Swede madꦜe no mistake with almost the entire goal to aim for.
McCoist initially picked out the run from Miley for praise. But as the replays continued, he realised that𝔍 the full-back deserved a lot more credit.
“I’m🍸 not sure I was doing justice to the initial run from Livramento. He does exceptionally well. The goalkeeper doesn’t. Isak does,” he told .
Another brilliant Magpies signing
Livramento🎐 has been really brig⛦ht since joining Newcastle – in a deal worth . But obviously, Tuesda𒉰y’s task was a daunting one for the side’s full-backs, with Neymar and Ousmane Dembele looking to make things happen for Luis Enrique’s side.
Dembele saw a lot of the ball. But Livramento ✨was disciplined and did a decent job. Certainly, he was desperately unlucky to concede a late penal🎃ty.
And when the time c💦ame to try and create something a🧔t the other end of the pitch, Livramento did superbly.
