Joining Liverpool from Lille in 2014 for a fee of £10million (), Origi has since clocked up 134 appearances in all competitions – with injury and a loan spell at Wolfsburg limiting the striker from playing more.
With Origi failing to break into the starting eleven of late, many have speculated that he could leave Anfield in order to join a club where he could become first choice. However, Origi has stated he has spoken to Liverpool about his future.
“I am a better player than last year. Klopp has given me the space to develop myself. I always listen to my instinct and continue to work,” “We have spoken with Liverpool and we have a nice course ahead of us. I just want to get better here.

TBR’s view – Origi needs to leave Liverpool
Previously linked with Tottenham, Origi needs to realise his potential and join a side where he is first choice. Tottenham would be a waste of time, given he would be in a similar position to what he is at Anfield – under Harry Kane.
If he is to remain in the Premier League, Origi should join a side such as Newcastle who are desperate for a striker – after Joelinton struggled in his first campaign with the Toon. With Newcastle’s incoming million, could such a move occur?
