Some Everton fans have been reacting on social media to reports by , claiming Nuno Espirito Santo is on the verge of joining Crystal Palace.
The Toffees had held talks with the former Wolverhampton Wanderers manager recently, per the . Farhad Moshiri reached out to the Portuguese coach to sound out his interest in replacing Carlo Ancelotti at Goodison Park.
Everton were aware of rival interest from Crystal Palace. But marked the 47-year-old as one of their main contenders alongside West Ham United boss David Moyes. They will not pursue their former coach without receiving the Hammers’ blessing first, however.
