Dirk Kuyt makes big Darwin Nunez prediction for Liverpool v Manchester City
Liverpool take on Manchester City today in the biggest game of the weekend and former Red Dirk Kuyt has made his prediction for the game.
Kuyt is a bit of a cult hero in Liverpool and very much still follows the Reds today. The Dutchman has been doing the rounds a bit in the media of late as well, discussing all things Liverpool.
And over on yesterday, Kuyt was chatting to Darren Bent and Andy Goldstein, praising the work Jurgen Klopp had done.
And when pressed on a prediction for the game with City, Kuyt had a big claim on the result which involved Darwin Nunez.

Speaking on , Kuyt predicted that Nunez would get the winning goal to keep up his fine run of current form.
“I can see Liverpool winning but both teams to score. And probably City comes first up and Liverpool will win it with Darwin Nunez to score the winning goal. 1-2 (score prediction),” Kuyt .
Nunez has hit form this season with double figures already in terms of goals and assists for the Reds.
The big striker also enjoyed a fine international break, helping Marcelo Bielsa’s Uruguay to some big results once again.
Nunez has been praised by a number of pundits and ex-Liverpool players this season. There are still inconsistencies in his game but there is a feeling he is slowly becoming the top dog at Anfield.
The Liverpool number nine could very much be the difference today against City. His pace, power, and ability to stretch the defence could be a huge problem for Pep Guardiola.
Indeed, the City boss even picked Nunez out as one of Liverpool’s big threats.
If Kuyt is correct in his prediction here, then Nunez could end up having his defining moment in a Liverpool shirt.
