Diogo Jota says £20m Liverpool player is even better than Trent Alexander-Arnold at passing

Who is the best passer at Liverpool?

That’s a question that should be easy to answer, right?

Trent Alexander-Arnold has almost every club in the bag, he can play any pass, any length in any direction.

When all is said and done, Alexander-Arnold may well be the best passer in the world.

However, according to Diogo Jota, there’s another player at Liverpool who is even better at Alexander-Arnold when it comes to passing.

Thiago is the best passer at Liverpool

Jota actually claimed that Thiago Alcantara is the best passer at Liverpool when speaking to .

The Spaniard has barely played any football over the past 12 months, but his quality is there for all to see when he does play.

“Best passer?” Jota was asked.

“Thiago,” Jota said.

Thiago could’ve been amazing for Liverpool

It’s such a shame that Thiago’s injuries have halted him at Liverpool, because when he is fit and firing, he’s arguably the Reds’ best player technically.

The man has so much quality, and he can make any player look like an amateur, but sadly, we’ve barely been able to see that ability at Liverpool.

He’s been injured way too often, and the fact that he’s missed big game after big game for the Reds has tarnished his Anfield legacy.

Under different circumstances, Thiago could’ve been a bona fide Liverpool legend, but sadly, injuries have left him as a case of what could’ve been rather than fulfilled potential.

The Spaniard is out of contract at Liverpool this summer, and it looks as though this may well be the end of the road for the former Bayern Munich man.

Thiago is one of the most talented players to ever pull on a red shirt, but, sadly, he’s not been able to show just how good he is on a consistent basis.
