Diogo Jota claims Liverpool have a player who’s even better than Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham very nearly became a Liverpool player last year, but now, Diogo Jota has claimed that the Reds have someone who’s even better than the midfielder.

Bellingham is one of the 🎃frontrunners to win the Ballon d’Or this year 🏅after an incredible season with Real Madrid and a couple of memorable moments at Euro 2024.

However, according to Jota, speaking to Goal, one of his Liverpool teammates is better than Bellingham.

Indeed, according to the striker, Trent Alexander-Arnold is a better player than the Real Madrid star.

Diogo Jota says Trent Alexander-Arnold is better than Jude Bellingham

The striker💞 ranked Alexander-Arnold just ahead of Bellingham when discussing some of the biggest stars in world football.

“Trent?” Jota was asked.

“Two,” Jota said.

“Jude Bellingham?”

“Number three then.”

What Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jude Bellingham have been spotted doing

It’s interesting that Jota compared Bellingham🐻 and Alexander✅-Arnold. After all, these two have struck up quite the bromance.

Indeed, Alexander-Arnold and Bellingham are seemingly inseparable in the England camp, and just this week the two England st♋ars were spotted together at the airport.

Football London’s Kaya Kaynak provided an up❀date 🐬on the pair, stating that he saw them in Los Angeles together.

“I saw Jude Bellingham and Trent Alexander-Arnold together in the passport queue in LA,” Kaynak 🦹said.

“I guess they’re on holid🀅ay together in LA. I don’t think they are signing for Arsenal, but maybe it’s some sort of Real Madrid link-up, Trent has been linked with a move over there, so it will be interesting to keep an eye out on that one.”

As Kaynak says, this comes shortly after Alexander-Arnold was link𝓡ed withꦜ a move to Real Madrid.

Whether you believe Alexander-Arnold is better than Bellingham is up for deba💯te, but if Madrid do manage to sign 🌳the Liverpool full-back, there’d be a case to make that England’s two most talented player would both then be playing for Los Blancos.
