‘Different class’: Liam Cooper lauds Leeds star on Instagram

Liam Cooper has labelled Diego Llorente ‘different class’ as the Leeds United captain responded to the defender’s Instagram post in the wake of the 2-1 win over Sheffield United on Saturday.

They are now past the 40-point mark. And in Llorente, Leeds appear to have found themselves another gem in the transfer market.

But since his latest return, he has seemingly got better and better. And it was no surprise that plenty of fans felt that he was the man of the match from their 2-1 win over the Blades.

Of course, Bielsa’s men will not get carried away with the win. Their opponents look destined for relegation and Leeds now face a daunting run of games.

But it does appear that one of the Whites’ biggest weaknesses is starting to become a real strength.

Bielsa now has his four first-choice centre-backs available for the first time. Gaetano Berardi was not even able to make the match day squad for Saturday.

Cooper and Llorente are currently the two in possession of the centre-back spots. But they are only going to be pushed by the likes of Robin Koch and Pascal Struijk.
