Dietmar Hamann backs ‘very capable’ Ozan Kabak to be Liverpool success
Former Liverpool star Dietmar Hamann has been raving about new signing Ozan Kabak during an interview with the
Liverpool were thrashed 4-1 by Manchester City yesterday to practically end any hopes they have of retaining their Premier League crown.
Kabak was an unused substitute as Jurgen Klopp chose to play midfielders Fabinho and Jordan Henderson at centre-back.

The decision backfired as City ran riot to give Pep Guardiola a first win at Anfield.
Hamann believes Liverpool are getting a good player and thinks he can help the Reds.
: “He is a physical player, loves to wrestle and the English league will suit him better than the Bundesliga.
“He’s very capable, I like him.
“Ozan can be a bit rash but he is good enough to step up even though he’s young.”
Kabak has signed for Liverpool on loan until the end of the 2020/21 campaign, with the Reds holding an option to buy.
At 20 he has bags of time to continue improving and arrives at Anfield having already played 14 times for Schalke this season.
TBR View: Kabak must start against Leicester
Klopp’s decision not to play the Turkish defender against City was baffling.
Ilkay Gundogan and Phil Foden were given the freedom of Liverpool as the champions missed Jordan Henderson and Fabinho in midfield.

Nat Phillips has been playing really well, whilst Ben Davies also arrived from Preston on the same day as Kabak.
Klopp must now act and with the league title all but gone, he has nothing to lose by throwing his new boys in.
Kabak looks physically strong, good on the ball and strong in the air.
Starting him against Leicester is a no-brainer and the hope will be that he can hit the ground running.
