Didier Drogba sends message to Nicolas Jackson before Arsenal vs Chelsea

Chelsea signed Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal last summer for slightly more than £🦂30.1 million ().

A lot was expected of the Senegal international, but it has to be said that he has really struggled under Mauricio Pochettino this season.

Jack꧂son has scored 13 goals and provided five assists for Chelsea in all competitions so far, which is not terrible for a 22-year-old who is in his firsꦺt season in England.

However, he has missed 18 big chances in the Premier League already thisꦉ season, and th💫at has infuriated Chelsea fans at times.

Jackson has come under a lot of criticism over the last few weeks as a result, and that cannot be goodꦫ for his confidence going into the game against Arsenal tonight.

Didier Drogba, who knoꦬws a thing or two about scoring goals,🐼 especially against the Gunners, has now offered some advice to Jackson.

Taking to X last night, the Chelse𝕴a legend wrote: “Keep your head High UP and never stop working hard, it will pay off.”

Mauricio Pochettino makes claim about Nicolas Jackson – Didier Drogba comparisons

Ch꧃elsea haven’t always had the greatest luck with centre-forwards, but they struck gold with Didier Drogba all thꦦose years ago, didn’t they?

The former Ivory Coast international scored 164 goals and provided 88 assists for the Blues during his time at the club and was the biggest reason why they won the Champions League in 2012.

Drogba made such a big impact at Chelsea that Blues fans are waiting for a striker of a similar level to do the business at 🌳Stamford Bridge.

Some felt Nicol🌃as Jackson could be that man in the summer, but that hasn’t happened – not yet at least.

Mauricio Pochettino had his say on the Drogba-Jac🍎kson comparisons, and the Chelsea boss admitted that the latter will always▨ lose that battle.

He : “🎶In his first season, a young guy coming from Spain, even with not much experience there, I think he is doing fantastic.

“The players here have to match the icon players here like Drogba, if we compare with Drogba, yes he (Jackson) is always going to lose, but if we split t🎃he history of the club from the team and the performance of Jackson, I think he is doing fantastic. He is going to have all of my support.”
