‘Devastating’ Tottenham target sends message to Radu Dragusin on Instagram after scoring hat-trick

One of Tottenham Hotspur’s summer transfer targets was on fire for his country last night.

Nearly two months of the season is still left to be played, but Spurs are already planning ahead. Ange Postecoglou will want to strengthen his side, and Tottenham have been linked with plenty of names already.

The North Londoners need reinforcements in several positions, but the most exciting signing would be a new striker. Spurs are yet to replace Harry Kane up top.

Among all the names linked with a move to Tottenham is an old teammate of Radu Dragusin. He stole the show for his country last night.

Tottenham target sends message to Radu Dragusin

Ange Postecoglou made a brave decision at Tottenham last summer when he chose not to sign an out-and-out striker to replace Harry Kane.

The England captain was Spurs’ best player, and his departure just before the start of the season was viewed by many as a massive blow for the North London club.

Tottenham have done well without Kane so far, but Postecoglou will want to bring in a new striker at some point.

The next transfer window is just a few months away now, and Genoa’s Albert Gudmundsson has been heavily linked with a move to Spurs.

The Iceland international was on fire last night as he scored a stunning hat-trick against Israel to help his country go a step further in their dreams of qualifying for the Euros.

Radu Dragusin sent Gudmundsson a message after his hat-trick on Thursday night. The Genoa forward has now replied.

“See you this summer,” he wrote on his , suggesting that Iceland will definitely qualify for the Euros in Germany.

Spurs target Albert Gudmundsson gets an incredible rating

Scoring a hat-trick for your country in a crucial game must be an amazing feeling, and Albert Gudmundsson experienced it on Thursday night.

The ‘‘ 26-year-old, who has been in good form for Genoa this season, had only scored three times for Iceland in 34 appearances before the game against Israel.

He doubled that tally with a brilliant hat-trick last night, and gave him a 9.9/10 rating – higher than any other player on the pitch.

If Gudmundsson can continue to perform in the same way in the next few months, we’re sure a number of clubs will join Tottenham in the race to sign him in the summer.
