The Holland midfielder was scintillating as the reigning champions smashed a hapless Wolves through the covers for four.
Wijnaldum got himself a goal on the night with other goals coming courtesy of Mohamed Salah, Joel Matip and a Nelson Semedo own goal.
The man who is in the form of his life right now was a standout performer and Crooks was blown away by the midfielder.

Wijanldum earns at Anfield and that doesn’t put him among the club’s top earners.
On current form, however, he is worthy of a contract extension in order to keep Barcelona from the door.
He has excelled in Jurgen Klopp’s team this season and is proving to be an integral part of the Liverpool team.
His goal in the game against Wolves was no more than he deserved and on current form he is undroppable.
Wijnaldum has 62 caps for his country and losing him wouldn’t be ideal from the Reds’ perspective.
Although some will point to the fact that younger players are emerging from the academy, Wijnaldum’s experience could have a really positive influence on those players.
A new deal seems like a no-brainer right now and Liverpool need to get something sorted quickly.
