‘Deserves huge credit’…Sky Sports pundit really impressed by £45m Liverpool player v Bournemouth

Liverpool’s opening goal against Bournemouth today was a thing of beauty as they carved the Cherries open for Darwin Nunez to score.

The Uruguayan striker netted brilliantly after a fine team move saw a number of playerꦛs involved in the build up play.

The likes of Harvey Elliott and Ibrahima Konate played their part. But it was the pass from✅ Diogo Jota w🐼hich really made things.

And speaking about Jota’s impact in the goal, Sky Sports pundit Alan Smith was﷽ full of praise for the man’s role in ಌthe goal.

Analysing the goal from Nunez, Smith felt it waꦚs important that the pass from Jota was picked up and given credit.

“It’s a lovely bit of passing that leads to the chance. It’s clinical. Jota deserves huge credit. Konate again plays a part. Jota sees the pass and the picture.  You wouldn’t thin🎀k Nunez was suffering without a goal with the way he slides this home. It’s a lovely team ♏goal the way they cut Bournemouth apart,” Smith said.

Jota’s role in the Liverpool team has become more and more important, esp🐬ecially with Mo Sal💜ah away at the AFCON at the moment.

The former Wolves ace has been a top buy by Jurgen Klopp and as he showed today, he is crucial in t🎃he final third.

Classy forwards make the difference

There aren’t many teams in the💙 world who have the options Liverpool do when it com꧙es to fielding a front three.

The likes of Mo Salah are world class as we know. But then in support, players like Jota, Nunez and Luis Diaz make a huge difference, as do others like Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliꦿott w🍎hen they play further forward.

The Portuguese 𝄹star is a difference maker and he showed today just why Klopp picks him so often.

Liverpool are lucky to have Jota𝓰 and that £45m fee looks more and more of a bargain as the weeks go by.
