‘Deserves a start over Dele and Moura’: Some Spurs fans wowed by U23s gem’s display last night
A number of Spurs fans have praised Jack Clarke following his latest performance for the Tottenham Under-23s.
The 21-year-old joined Spurs back in 2019 from Leeds for a reported £10million plus add-ons.
Clarke’s time at Tottenham hasn’t been smooth sailing amid difficult loan spells and injury issues, not to mention the challenges posed by English football being suspended for several months.

The young winger’s loan stint back at Leeds saw him get little playing time, and he was eventually recalled.
Clarke then spent the second half of the 2019-20 season at QPR, though he only made seven appearances and was often on the bench.
And in the second half of last term, he was on loan with Stoke, where he got plenty of game time, but an Achilles injury in April ended his season.
This season, Clarke has largely plied his trade for the Under-23s, though he has made one senior appearance, in the Europa Conference League.
On Friday, he was in Premier League 2 action against Everton and opened the scoring in the first minute, slotting into the bottom-right corner.
Clarke helped Spurs record a 4-0 win over the Toffees, and some fans were pleased with his efforts:
