Derek Ferguson says Sheyi Ojo may get a telling off from Rangers’ experienced heads
Former Rangers midfielder Derek Ferguson says that current Gers man Sheyi Ojo may be the subject of censure in the dressing room for recent comments.
Ferguson believes Ojo shouldn’t have said Rangers are the best side in the country () and feels some of the more experienced heads in the dressing room will tell him that.
As per (07/10/2019), he said: “The experience is vital. Those guys in the dressing room are going to be a big factor. We were just talking about Ojo getting ahead of himself, coming out and making statements. I think he would have been slapped down in the dressing room.
“I think one or two boys would have had a go at him, even the assistant manager, Gary McAllister because have that belief, it’s a great thing in the dressing room. But you don’t to go and shout your mouth off by saying, we are going to do this and that.”

TBR’s View – Ferguson is right, Rangers can do their talking on the pitch
Rangers have a real opportunity to push on and make a fist of the Scottish title race this campaign and the way they will get success is by doing their talking on the pitch.
Ojo may well have been saying what the whole team believes to be true behind closed doors but it’s not especially helpful to draw any more attention to what is going on at Ibrox with bold claims.
