Derby County fans rage with performance of on-loan Everton man Kieran Dowell
Derby County suffered their first Championship defeat of the season last night, losing 2-1 to Bristol City at Pride Park.
If follows Saturday’s game with Stoke where they were forced to come from a goal behind to draw 2-2.
Goals by former Rams star Andi Weimann and Josh Brownhill ensured a big win for Lee Johnson’s men, with Jack Marriott’s goal coming proving scant consolation.

Boss Phillip Cocu is still finding his feet in English football. Since the opening weekend win at Huddersfield Town, the Rams are now three games without a victory.
Frank Lampard departed in the summer for Chelsea and after leading the Rams to the play-off final, Cocu was always going to have big shoes to fill.
Derby have a squad blessed with lots of quality and there is optimism that they can turn things around.
One man who bore the brunt of criticism from supporters after last night’s defeat was Everton loanee, Kieran Dowell.

The youngster signed on loan for the season back in July having helped Sheffield United to promotion to the Premier League last season.
Dowell, 21, wasn’t in the best of form last night and Derby fans have waded in with criticism on social media.
Here is a selection of tweets from Derby supporters regarding the performance of the Toffees youngster:
Dowell is a big problem for me, not enough pace on the ball to run past players, not enough vision to pass through the lines and little impact on the game. We can't afford to carry players who are meant to be the vision in the team for our attacking play.

Dowell not good enough. 2dm is killing wags. Lowe not a rb. Midfield is weak.

I also see what the forest fans were saying about Dowell!!

If Dowell comes out for the 2nd half I'm going home!

Kieran Dowell replacing Mason Mount is like selling grapejuice and calling it Merlot

Mount to Dowell is probably our biggest downgrade in recent memory
