Dejan Kulusevski left shocked by £100k-a-week Tottenham player yesterday

Dejan Kulusevski and Yves Bissouma have reacted to Tottenham teammate Ivan Perisic’s goal for Croatia at the World Cup yesterday.

The 2018 finalists found themselves 1-0 down to Japan yesterday, who had already stunned Spain and Germany at the tournament.

But Perisic produced a stunning second half header to make it 1-1 and force the game to a penalty shootout, which Croatia won 3-1.

Kulusevski and Bissouma are not at the World Cup but were watching on and took to Instagram to congratulate the man.

Kulusevski and Bissouma stunned by Perisic header

The Swedish forward just three emojis to show how stunned he was with the bullet header which clawed Perisic’s side level.

Bissouma a message about Perisic heading home with his ‘old’ head, making a joke at his teammate’s expense.

Perisic’s goal helped Croatia set up a meeting with Brazil, which will of course see him go head-to-head with his Spurs teammate Richarlison.

That game takes place on Friday night and Brazil will be favourites after their 4-1 demolition job on South Korea, of course captained by Tottenham’s Heung-min Son.

But Croatia never go quietly and they have a huge amount of steel and fighting spirit to go with their quality and experience.

The tournament is hotting up now, with three mouth-watering quarter-finals on the horizon already and the potential for a Spain-Portugal clash after today’s games.
