Declan Rice and William Saliba react after news coming out of Arsenal yesterday
Ben White has signed a new long-term contract at Arsenal, and Declan Rice and William Saliba are delighted with the news.
The Englishman is one of the most consistent performers at Arsenal. He has been magnificent for the club, and his contract extension is brilliant news for everyone at the Emirates.
Declan Rice and William Saliba react after Ben White signs new Arsenal contract
Arsenal signed Ben White from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer of 2021.
The Englishman became the Gunners’ most expensive defender of all time, and many people questioned his price tag. Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher heavily criticised him, but he has proved all his doubters wrong.
White is now one of Arsenal’s best players. There are very few footballers in the entire Premier League who are as consistent as him – he just keeps delivering!
Edu Gaspar and his team have been in talks with White over a new contract for months. The deal was finally sealed, and it was announced yesterday.
White took to to celebrate the big news. A number of his teammates showed him some love.
Declan Rice wrote “You’re the man,”, while William Saliba expressed his delight with four heart-eyes emojis.
Even Piers Morgan, who is often critical of everything, was delighted. “Brilliant news – congrats Ben,” he wrote under White’s post.

White deserves his new contract
Ben White was in the news for a lot of reasons yesterday, but the only thing Arsenal fans will care about is the fact that he has committed his future to the club.
The Englishman is a fan favourite at the Emirates. Everyone in and around the club loves him, and the news about his new deal was welcomed with open arms.
White, in our opinion, is Arsenal’s most underrated player. He’s perhaps the most underappreciated player in the entire Premier League as well, and we think he deserves a lot more praise than he gets.
Arsenal have a good break now until the final day of the month. They take on Manchester City at the Etihad then, and White will be integral at both ends of the pitch.
