Dean Smith confirms huge double boost for Aston Villa as Jack Grealish and Tammy Abraham are fit to face Bolton
Dean Smith has given an injury update ahead of Friday’s trip to Bolton Wanderers in the Championship, .
And it is positive news regarding two of Aston Villa’s key men: Tammy Abraham and Jack Grealish.
Both players are fit to face struggling Bolton at the weekend and their availability boosts Aston Villa’s promotion hopes.
Abraham, who is the club’s leading scorer with 24 goals, was substituted in the win against his former club Bristol City last weekend, having scored earlier in the game.
But the 21-year-old, on loan from Chelsea, is due back and fit to face Bolton. And Aston Villa fans have received more good news hearing that captain Grealish is back.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been Aston Villa’s talisman since his return from injury in March but he missed the Bristol City clash through illness.

However, Smith has revealed that Grealish has overcome his illness and now he is ready to face Bolton.
In other news, Smith confirmed that centre-backs Kortney Hause and James Chester are definitely out of this Friday’s game.
Hause has had treatment on a hip flexor injury and will miss both Easter weekend matches while Chester could return before the end of the season.
However, fellow centre-half Tommy Elphick is back in training and has a chance of recovering in time for Bolton on Friday or Millwall on Monday.
Jonathan Kodjia is in the same boat as Elphick, having had a scan on an injury which ruled him out of the win over Bristol City.
The Ivorian is unlikely to make the squad for the Bolton trip but should be fit to face Millwall on Monday.
