Speaking on the , Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen has now been asked to name who he believes to be the most underrated cen🌟tre-back in Premier League history.
The Spaniard noted that, at the age of 19, he doesn’t necessarily remember everyone, but he does think that Joel Matip is a๊mong the most underrated centre-halves in the history of the league.

The Bournemouth defender had to think for a while, but, ulti𒁃mately, he named Joel Matip as his pick.
“Who do you think is the most unꦬderrated Premier League centre-back of all-time?” Huijsen was🌼 asked.
“It’s a good question. Obviously I’m young so I haven’t seen much of the past, but from what I have seen, maybe Joel🌺 Matip,” Huijsen said.
“He did it for so 🐠loಌng, he was playing with Van Dijk,” Matip said.
What Dean Huijsen said about playing for Liverpool
Huijsen spoke highly of Matip, and it is interesting to hea🔜r the Spaniard speak about a former Liverpool defe💛nder in this way.
Indeed, Liverpool have been strongly linked with Huijsen in recent times,🀅 and later on in the interview, he spoke about what it must be like to pla🐷y for the Reds.
Huijsen noted that it must be very di🐭fficult to play for Liverpool, claiming that the whole world is looking at you and there’s a lot of pressure attached to that.
“The same as I 💫was saying about Barcelona, I don’t think it’s easy💝 to play for Liverpool. There’s the pressure, the whole world is looking at you, there’s the Champions League and the Premier League,” Huijsen said.
Of course, Huijsen may soon have to get used to this type of pressure. After all, Huijsen is being linked with Real Madrid, and there’s no bigge🍸r stage than that for any player at the top level.
At the age of just 19, you can understand why Huijsen may view playing for a top club ⛎as a daunting task, but after coming through at Juventus and playing for Roma on loan, he already has plenty of experience on that front.
