Dean Henderson now posts message to Nottingham Forest fans on Instagram after ‘outstanding’ display vs West Ham
Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Dean Henderson has now after the club’s historic win against West Ham today.
Steve Cooper’s men secured the club’s first win in the Premier League in 23 years and Henderson put in an ‘outstanding’ performance.
The 25-year-old made a huge save to deny Tomas Soucek at the beginning of the second-half and then saved Declan Rice’s effort from the penalty spot.
Taiwo Awoniyi’s first-half goal handed Forest the win but it was Henderson’s performance that stopped the Hammers from getting anything from the game.

Now, .
The post reads: “23 years worth the wait!! What an atmosphere what a club!! What a win let’s go Forest.”
The Reds were brilliant in the first-half of today’s game but the Hammers put huge pressure on Cooper’s side in the second-half.
But Henderson was in fine form to deny David Moyes’ side as they hit the woodwork twice in the second half.
Cooper will be delighted to get off the mark in the Premier League and to see his new signings bedding in quickly at the club.
Forest have certainly got a brilliant goalkeeper in Henderson and the England international showed his class today.

Henderson struggled for playing time at Manchester United after an excellent loan spell at Sheffield United during the 2019-20 campaign.
The goalkeeper was excellent for the Blades and was a big reason why they were so successful that year.
Cooper will be hoping that Henderson can produce similar form between the sticks at the CIty Ground this season and he’s certainly got off to an excellent start.
Forest travel to Goodison Park next to take on Everton and Cooper will be hoping to get some more points on the board.
