de Jong to Barcelona should encourage Tottenham to pursue Rafinha
Frenkie de Jong has signed for Barcelona in a £65 million deal ().
The highly coveted holding midfielder will join up with the Catalan giants ahead of next season.
The 21-year-old has signed a five-year deal at the Nou Camp, and has snubbed a whole host of other top clubs in the process.

de Jong will join up with his new teammates, and competition for places in midfield next season just got a whole lot tougher.
Things have been difficult for fringe player Rafinha already this term, and maybe Tottenham Hotspur should come back in for him this month.
Barcelona could now be open to Rafinha sale
Spurs were linked with Brazilian Rafinha last summer (), but perhaps now the chance to actually sign him may have increased significantly.
Rafinha has made just eight appearances this season, including only three La Liga starts.
The 25-year-old already had Sergio Busquets, Ivan Rakitic, Arthur, Philippe Coutinho, Arturo Vidal and Carles Alena for competition. With de Jong to join, Barca might now be willing to listen to offers for him.

Tottenham could do with signing a central midfield player, with Mousa Dembele having departed for China this month.
Rafinha is a tidy midfield player, evidenced by his impressive 90.6% pass success percentage ().
The playmaker has been with Barca since 2011 and has only made 87 appearances for the club, suggesting that he perhaps needs a change of environment.
