‘Day in, day out’: Aaron Ramsdale claims Arsenal have a player who is now absolutely ‘perfect’

Aaron Ramsdale has lavished praise on Arsenal and England teammate Bukayo Saka ahead of tomorrow’s clash with France.

Saka has as many goals as any English player at the World Cup so far and only Kylian Mbappe is ahead of him in the race for the Golden Boot.

A went viral earlier this week of Saka asking England legend David Beckham politely for a photo when he met the squad after training.

When asked about it on England’s official channel, Saka said that Beckham was speaking to Gareth Southgate at the time and he did not want to interrupt his manager’s conversations.

Ramsdale on Saka

In an interview with , Ramsdale paid tribute to Saka’s personal qualities and said the clip sums them all up.

He said: “If you haven’t seen him asking David Beckham for a picture, I don’t need to say much more. The nicest, most humble kid, polite as anything, been brought up the right way.

“If you watch that clip, you’ll fall in love with him. That’s what he’s like. I think everyone’s spoken about the same sort of things.

“I see it day in, day out. It doesn’t change for the cameras or for England. He’s like that with every member of staff at Arsenal and here.

“He’s just that perfect boy, who has been brought up the right way. That’s a massive testament to his mum and dad.”

Saka has the quality to influence England’s huge quarter-final tomorrow night as England try to keep Mbappe and co quiet and plot a route to the last four.

It is a massive night for Saka and his Three Lions teammates and the country really would be dreaming of glory if they got through this round.

There is the opportunity for someone to be a hero, and Saka has previously said he would take a penalty if the game got to that stage.
