Davies names Gareth Bale as best he’s played with ahead of Kane

Ben Davies has named Gareth Bale as the best player he has played with, with the Welshman getting the nod ahead of Tottenham Hotspur teammate Harry Kane – .

Davies has enjoyed a fantastic career to date. He has now made 263 appearances for Tottenham during his career. Meanwhile, he has played 70 times for his country. And he could be going to the World Cup later this year.

Of course, along the way, he has played with some incredibly special players. Kane and Son Heung-min are the most lethal pairing in Premier League history. And Kane is well on his way to becoming the top goalscorer in the competition also.

But interestingly, Kane did not get the nod when Davies was asked to name the best he has played alongside. Instead, the defender opted for his international teammate.

“Gareth Bale. I’ve played with some amazing players, but he’s done stuff in games that are just magic. Stuff that I’ve not seen many other players do. I’m lucky that I’ve played with players like Harry Kane, he’s up there as well, but sometimes Gareth does stuff that surprises everybody,” .

Ben Davies, Gareth Bale and Harry Kane to be reunited for one final time at Tottenham?

Obviously, the trio got the chance to play together at Spurs last season. Bale returned to North London for a loan spell after falling out of favour with Real Madrid.

It does seem that Bale’s future is going to be a talking point for a while to come. His contract with Los Blancos expires this summer.

Interestingly, it would appear that there is still a chance that the trio could be reunited in Tottenham for one final spell next year.

Reports previously claimed that Bale had already agreed a pre-contract deal with Spurs.

Obviously, it would appear that those reports may have been premature or wide of the mark. But you would imagine that he could be a player discussed behind the scenes at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium because of his availability.

Certainly, it would not be a surprise if Davies welcomed Bale being linked, particularly if Wales do secure a World Cup place.
