David Seaman sends message to Aaron Ramsdale as he leaves Arsenal to join Southampton
Arsenal have enjoyed a fruitful summer on the transfer front and they remain active in the market on deadline day.
The Gunners signed Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino earlier this summer, and have also moved several players on.
Now, on deadline day, Arsenal are trying to find solutions for other fringe players with regards to sealing moves elsewhere.
Earlier on Friday, the Gunners sold one of the players who played a big part in their rise back to the upper echelons of the Premier League.
Arsenal confirmed that Aaron Ramsdale is no longer on their books, having completed a move to fellow Premier League outfit Southampton.
Highbury legend David Seaman, a good friend of Ramsdale’s, has taken to X with a farewell message in wake of the England international’s move.

How much have Arsenal earned from Ramsdale sale?
According to , Arsenal have sold Ramsdale to Southampton for an initial £18million.
The fee could rise to £25million if performance-related add-ons are met.
Arsenal have made a bit of a loss, considering they signed Ramsdale for £30million three years ago.
However, Ramsdale’s contributions to the Gunners have been nothing short of spectacular.
As Seaman said, the 26-year-old played a big part in Arsenal’s rise back into the big time after years outside of the top-four picture.
Elsewhere, Eddie Nketiah could be the next Arsenal first-teamer to leave, amid links with Crystal Palace.
