The French World Cup winner has already been ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury.

His backup Fraser Forster has performed well when called upon and even earned a return to the England squad.

The 36-year-old has been offered the chance to go to Saudi Arabia in the summer on a huge new deal.

One goalkeeper that may have to take a pay cut is David De Gea.

Like Lloris, he’s been an incredible servant to his club, but errors have crept into his game.

Seaman has now suggested that De Gea and Harry Kane could end up swapping clubs in a part exchange deal in the summer.

The record-breaking goalscorer’s future is also up in the air with his contract set to end next summer.

Manchester United need a world-class goalscorer going into next season, and he certainly fits the bill.

Seaman suggests De Gea swap deal for Kane

On the Seaman Says podcast, his that they read De Gea could go to Tottenham in the summer.

: “Woah yeah, I never thought of that. I was wondering about Everton and what would happen if they went down, and I thought that might have been where Jordan [Pickford] would have ended up.

“De Gea to Spurs? I’ve not even thought of that.”

His other co-host Lynsey Hooper : “Maybe it’s in part-exchange for Harry Kane?”

Seaman is excited by the idea of a Kane and De Gea exchange : “There you go! That could work even more with that added bonus.

“If I’m honest I can’t see De Gea staying here, I would imagine he’d go to Spain or go abroad again.”

Tottenham are likely to demand a huge fee to let Harry Kane go this summer, especially to a domestic rival.

They may be tempted by a move for David De Gea, but there are better options on the market at this stage.

It seems like an incredibly difficult deal to negotiate at this stage, especially as neither player has demanded a move away from their current clubs.

However, anything is possible in the transfer window and Manchester United are no strangers to a swap deal with a Premier League rival.
