David Seaman reacts to Arsenal win over Leeds, makes feelings known about Whites
Arsenal legend David Seaman has given his verdict on the Gunners’ Carabao Cup victory over Leeds United at the Emirates.
Mikel Arteta’s charges ran out 2-0 winners over Marcelo Bielsa’s side, earning themselves a spot in the quarter-finals.
Arsenal substitute Calum Chambers scored the opener in the 55th minute, just moments after coming on.

Eddie Nketiah, formerly a Leeds loanee, then put the game beyond the Whites’ reach with a second which initially left some hearts in mouths.
The striker flicked the ball over Illan Meslier and did just enough to poke it over the line before the Leeds keeper could recover.
Seaman came through the ranks at Leeds and retains a soft spot for the Elland Road outfit.
While he was pleased with how Arsenal played, he also admitted he’d have been happy “whoever won” the game:
Arsenal last won the competition in 1993, with Seaman in between the sticks.
Chelsea have also progressed on Tuesday night after beating Southampton on penalties.
Likewise, Sunderland have gone through after a shootout victory over Queens Park Rangers.
The remaining five ties will be played on Wednesday, October 27.
The Gunners will find out their quarter-final opponents in Saturday’s draw.
