David Prutton predicts Leeds clash against QPR

Leeds United host QPR on Saturday in the Championship and will be looking to end a run of two consecutive draws.

Marcelo Bielsa’s team currently sit third in the league table and will be looking to build some momentum before the international break.

They have the best defensive record in the division after conceding just eight goals in 14 matches, but going forward they are wasteful at times.

Meanwhile, QPR travel to Elland Road as a team that score a lot of goals but are vulnerable at the back too.

They have the second worst defensive record in the league behind bottom of the table Barnsley and have been involved in some thrillers.

Sky Sports pundit Prutton has tipped a 1-1 scoreline between the teams at the weekend and expects QPR to take the game to Leeds.

“There was more frustration for Leeds at Sheffield Wednesday last week, where neither Patrick Bamford in the first half nor Eddie Nketiah in the second could find a route to goal,”

“QPR are leaky at the back, but also score plenty at the other end. They will take the game to Leeds and I think they could get something at Elland Road.”

TBR’s View:

Leeds are arguably the best team in the entire Championship when they are on form and they will need to be when an eye-catching QPR side visit Yorkshire.

Bielsa’s team have been defensively brilliant this term and will have faith in keeping their opponents quiet, as goalkeeper Kiko Casilla already has seven clean sheets this season.

QPR are a team that leak goals and give away a lot of chances, which is why they could be ideal opponents for Leeds if they can find their scoring boots.
