He predicts a comfortable win for his former side at home to Hull City this week. Speaking of the reasons why he highlighted how Leeds are grinding out results even when their performances are not at the high level expected under Bielsa.

“We seem to be saying it every week, but this Leeds team are taking the Championship by storm and I can’t see anything but a win for Marcelo Bielsa’s side here.

“Their game management is excellent and they often pick up points even when they aren’t at the races.”

There is no doubt that Leeds United are currently on a fantastic run of form. The club have won six games on the bounce and, along with West Brom, have opened up a considerable gap ahead of the play-off places in the Championship.

Undoubtedly, part of that has been an extra resilience to Leeds United’s play in the past few weeks that has seen them go on this excellent winning streak.

Fans will just hope it can continue when Hull come to visit this evening.
