Pundit David Prutton says he has been surprised by Nottingham Forest so far this season and has passed judgement on their ability to get into the Championship top six this season.
As per Prutton has been impressed by the way Sabri Lamouchi’s side have ground out results and predicted they’d pick up a win on the road against Wigan this weekend.
He : “Nottingham Forest have been a little bit of a surprise package so far. They have ground out more results than I would have anticpated and look well placed for a meaningful run at the top six – at the very least. I think they could nick another win on Sunday. 1-0.”

TBR’s View – Managing weight of expectation a challenge at Forest
Everyone connected with Forest knows they’ve been in the second tier for far longer than a club of their stature should have been.
That creates a desperation with every passing year to get back into the promised land, which only builds pressure every week.
Often the reason unfancied sides, such as Huddersfield and Bournemouth, can upset the odds and get up is because there isn’t that fervour and expectancy from the stands.
It’s all very serene at Forest right now and if they can keep that calmness up as the business end of the season approaches, they’ll have a very good chance of making the top six.
