David Ornstein shares deadline day update on Arsenal’s interest in Kingsley Coman

Arsenal could pull off a special deadline day if they are able to land some of the players they are being linked to.

Overall, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta can be satisfied with the two arrivals which the Gunners have been able to get over the line.

Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino mark two solid additions to the squad as Arsenal look to mount another title charge.

However, there may well be a feeling that there is still room for improvement with the north London side yet to add to their attack.

Speaking on the podcast, David Ornstein has now shared what he has heard about a potential move to north London for the 28-year-old.

“And names are always floating around. And the latest being reported by our colleague, Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail is Kingsley Coman,” he said,

“My information is that that’s not one that’s developing, as things stand. Let’s see if that changes in the course of these last 24/48 hours.”

Arsenal are in desperate need of landing themselves a new forward by the end of today with their options looking thin up top.

Landing a player of Coman’s calibre would be a big statement of intent from Arsenal with just hours to go in the window.

Coman has vast experience at the top of European football and having him available to provide backup to Bukayo Saka could be huge for Arsenal.
