Wolves keen on Kevin Danso after Emmanuel Agbadou

The player in question is Lens star Kevin Danso, who has been linked with Wolves over the past few⭕ weeks.

It was reported in mid-December that Wolves had placed Danso on their wish-list as 🃏they look t꧂o bolster their defensive ranks.

And though Wol𝔍ves are now seemingly set to sign Agbadou, Ornstein has rওeported that Danso remains on their agenda.

“That isn’t the end of Wolves’ business,” he said on NBC Sports. “They’re lo꧟oking to bring in another ce🥃ntral defender as well, if they can.

“Kevin Danso, formerl🔜y of Southampton, now at Lens, also in France, (is) among the options that they admire.”

What Wolves could expect from Danso

Danso is a 26-year-old central defender who currently plays for Frenc🍬h outfit Lens and represents Austria at international level.

He spent time at Reading and M꧙K Dons as a youngster before joining the academy of German side Augsburg a⛄nd making his senior breakthrough.

Danso j🌺oined Southampton on loan in 2019-20 but only made six appearances as he struggled playing out of position at full-back.

A fruitful loan stint at Bundesliga 😼2 side Fortuna Dusseldorf the ♔following year helped get his career back on track and earned him the move to Lens.

In an interview with Austr෴ian outlet Laola1 – via – in 2023, his former manager Franck Haise said: “Kevin is now one of the best central defend𒉰ers in Ligue 1, but also in Europe.

🔯“He has developed iಌnto a complete defender who is not only strong in the air but also has good technique with few mistakes in his build-up play and very clean passing.”

Meanwhile, Rio Ferdinand previously highlighted Danso as a player he’d like to see at ♔Manchester United, telling the : “The boy at Lens, there’s one there, he’s good.”
