Why Mathys Tel to Bayern Munich didn’t work as he joins Tottenham on loan

But Tottenham believe Te📖l is a brilliant young prospect, which prompted t﷽hem to go out of their way to secure his servic𝔍es on loan.

Even players who have played alongside the former Rennes goalscorer such as Harry Kane sta🅠ted that Tel will shine at Tottenham.

Reputed journalist David Ornstein has gone on to reveal that people within the game reckon the Lilywhites new-boy simply could not adapt to life at Bayern Munich.

Ornstein said on The Athletic FC podcast: “It hasn’t worked, people around the European football scene with much better expertise than me say that he just hasn’t acclimatised to the step up as well as people thought, maybe it’s t🅺he pressure, the expectation or Harry Kane leading the line for Bayern Munich.”

Luckily for Spurs, Ange Postecoglou told Tel he loves his game, citing the Sarcelles-born attacker’s speed and versatility as his favourite traits. While Kane has dubbed Tel as an “outstanding talent” as well; stamps of approval🐲 that sta𝄹ck up in the highly-rated forward’s favour.

Why Arsenal pulled out of deal for Tottenham new-boy Mathys Tel

Interestingly, Arsenal pulled out of a deal to sign Tel, with Mikel Arteta’s reasons being that he was only interested in bringing players who would impact their side rather than m🀅aking any mov💫e just for the sake of it.

David🐟 Or✨nstein said: “Mikel Arteta didn’t just want to bring in a body.”

“[Arsenal’s view was] We need someone that makes us bett⛦er, and makes an impac൲t on the team.”

However, Chelsea tried to hijack Tottenham’s move for Tel when he was at the ꦗairpor꧅t waiting to fly to London.

But thankfully for Tottenham, the Bayern loanee’s mind was made up as he 🌠will now have a battery in his back to silence his critics in N17.
