White was reportedly in talks over a new Arsenal deal for several months. The Gunners have apparently been working to finalise a deal that would keep another of their key players at the Emirates Stadium.

Those discussions have now reached a positive conclusion, according to Ornstein, and Arsenal are expected to post an official announcement by the weekend.

White’s contract was set to run until the summer of 2026, but has been rewarded with fresh terms and an extension for how well he has done at Arsenal and how important he is to the team.

Great news for Arsenal as the project keeps taking shape

Absolutely great news for Arsenal and for White, another top talent who has reportedly penned a new long-term deal at the Emirates Stadium.

White has been delivering for Mikel Arteta’s side since joining from Brighton for a reported £50million back in 2021. And this season, he has embarked on a particularly great run of form.

He is one of the main beneficiaries of Arsenal’s winter trip to Dubai. He was struggling somewhat prior to the winter break, but is now firing on all cylinders.

The ‘brilliant‘ 26-year-old is also thriving in the inverted full-back role and seems to be enjoying it. His upturn in form has coincided with Arsenal’s incredible league run.

White is just the latest of the Gunners’ top players to extend his contract at the club. He joins the likes of Martin Odegaard, William Saliba, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes in doing so.
