David Ornstein claims Spurs have reached total agreement over Timo Werner
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly reached total agreement to bring Timo Werner to Spurs in the January transfer window.
This is according to , who provided an update on and on his account.
Speculation linking Tottenham and Werner has intensified massively over the past 24 hours or so.
Now, it looks as though Spurs have got their man, with the move said to be over the line.
Ornstein has reported that agreement has now been reached for a loan with an option to buy believed to be in the region of €15-20million (£13-17.2million).

Tottenham will cover Werner’s entire wages for the remainder of the season, with the 27-year-old set to undergo a medical for Spurs “as soon as possible”.
Manchester United had apparently also been keeping tabs on Werner, but he is now “poised” to link up with Ange Postecoglou’s side.
RB Leipzig confirmed on Saturday that their player would miss their friendly against St Gallen amid talks over a move away.
Tottenham set to sign Timo Werner
If reports are true – and Ornstein is one of the most reliable sources out there – Werner will soon get the chance to rekindle his career under Postecoglou at Tottenham.
He will also look to take care of unfinished business in the Premier League after his spell at Chelsea didn’t quite go to plan.
The Germany international joined the Blues to considerable fanfare in 2020, but ended up leaving two years later after just 10 goals from 56 outings.
He revived his career at Leipzig initially, with 16 goals and six assists from 40 appearances last term.
However, injuries have restricted Werner to just 14 outings, 386 minutes of game time, two goals and one assist in 2023-24.
Meanwhile, Tottenham get themselves a reinforcement at centre-forward to take some of the pressure off Son Heung-min and Richarlison.
Werner is also versatile, able to play on the left and right flank as well as centrally, which is never a bad thing. , he has also played as a second striker and even as a No. 10.
Now for the formalities, the medical and, should everything go to plan, the all-important official announcement.
