The Bees are interested in a number of other right-footed centre backs including Burnley’s Dara O’Shea and Sheffield United’s Anel A꧅hmedhodzic.
Brentford are described as ‘long-term admirers’ of Van den Berg though and are thought to have a 🎀‘solid’ relationship with Liverpool.
This news will come as a blow to Mainz, who ♋were hoping to sign Van den Berg again this summer.
