David Moyes says West Ham star Jarrod Bowen will take great confidence from his goal

West Ham manager David Moyes gave a special mention t꧃o Jarrod Bowen after his performance on Tuesday nigඣht in the Premier League.

The right-wingerಌ൲ scored the opener in West Ham’s 2-1 victory at home to West Brom, which is a result that lifted them up to 10th in the league table.

They are now on a three-game winning streak in the league, plus they navigated their way through an FA Cup third round tie with non-league Stockport in-be𒉰tween the t🃏op-flight matches.

Bo𝐆wen has been an ever-preseꦰnt in the Hammers team this season. He’s an attacker with a tremendous work-rate, but he’s largely judged on his goal output.

The £96,000-a-week star () ended a goal dܫrought against West Bro that stretched back to November, plus he provided an assist against Stockport.

ꦰHe currently sits on five goals and three assists in all competitions thiꦅs season.

Moyes alluded to the fact post-match that Bowen’s goal contributions had dried up, but fe🅘els he ma🧔y be overcoming that dip and is showing better form in the final third.

“He had a little bit of a dip, but I think ๊he’s beginning to get back to it now and is showing signs of it and obviously that goal will give him great confidence,”

TBR’s View:

There should be no risk of Bowen losing his spot in the XI, as he’s a long way ahꦚead of teammate Andriy Yarmolenko in terms of impact on the West Ham side.

He often looks a threat even when his final ball is not quite there and the manager’s 🦋faith in him is justified.

The left-footed winger has had an excellent first year at the London Stadium and has made the step up from the Championship to the Premier League 💯looking fairly effortless.
