David Moyes names West Ham star who’s been invaluable to him
David Moyes has suggested that Aaron Cresswell has been invaluable to him, as the West Ham United defender prepares for his 200th Premier League appearance this Friday, .
Cresswell appears to have found a new lease of life this season. He is arguably playing some of the best football of his spell at the London Stadium.

It appears that the move to left centre-back has had an incredibly positive effect on the 30-year-old. He has already contributed three assists for the Hammers this term.
And ahead of his landmark appearance, Moyes has explained just how impressed he has been with the England international during his time at the club.

“He is a very good boy to work with, I have really enjoyed working with Cressy on both occasions, he has been invaluable,” he said, .
“More importantly he is calm, he’s consistent and plays regular which is very important in modern football. He has found a bit of a role that he is comfortable with at left centre back but he is also more than capable of being a left back, which is really what he is.
“I think his asissts this year have been really important. I don’t know what he had last season but this season he has stepped up with his deliveries and his involvement in the game and we want him to keep doing that.”
Cresswell is one of a number of West Ham players who have been incredibly impressive this term. But he is also a player who has come in for criticism in recent years.
He did struggle to maintain the outstanding form he showed during his first couple of years with West Ham. And given his age, some may have wondered whether his career may be starting to head in the wrong direction.
But Cresswell has completely silenced his doubters this season. And ahead of his 200th top flight appearance, it looks fair to say that the defender is some way off being done at the highest level.
