David Moyes has got to test Haller and Antonio together for West Ham
West Ham United bounced back from their Premier League defeat to Newcastle United with a comfortable 3-0 win over Charlton Athletic in the Carabao Cup.
The Hammers were looking to put their dismal performance against the Magpies behind them, and that they did against Lee Bowyer’s side, who were no match for the Irons.
Goals came courtesy of Sebastien Haller, who scored a brace, and Felipe Anderson.
Haller was back starting after starting the Newcastle game on the bench, and provided a gentle reminder for David Moyes of his goalscoring prowess.

His first was a tap in, his second a fine header to the far corner.
After the game, Moyes said (): “Probably the only disappointment is we should have won more comfortably.
“But Seb [Haller] getting a couple of goals will be good for his confidence. We had Michail Antonio scoring for us at the end of last season and now we hope Seb gets on a run of scoring goals.”
Perhaps Haller would be able to embark on a good goalscoring run if the manager was bold enough to partner the Frenchman and Antonio together.
TBR’s View – Haller has always been mismanaged
Haller struggled in his first season at West Ham because he didn’t have any near him.

At Eintracht Frankfurt, he flourished playing in tandem with Luka Jovic and scored 20 goals and made 12 assists.
Perhaps sticking him in there alongside £70,000-a-week star Antonio () is the way to get the best out of the 26-year-old.
