Describing Calafiori💝 as a ‘hit’ for Arsenal, Bent singled out his versatility for special praise as he sat down to rank some of the summer signings in the Premier League.
🥃“When he has played for Arsenal, he has been brilliant,” said Bent on talkSPORT.
🅷“Yeah, he has. Defensively, one-v-one battles, can play left side of centre-half, can play left-back, comfortable in possession. And he was good against PSG as well. He is a monster.”
Calafiori firmly Arsenal’s first-choice left-back now
With the likes of Kieran Tierney and Takehiro Tomiyasu injured and Oleksandr Zinchenko too unreliable defensively, Calafiori has quickly made the left-back spot his own at Arsenal.
