Darren Bent says £25m player must leave Arsenal after what Mikel Arteta has done this week

Arsenal beat Monaco 3-0 in the Champions League this week in what was an emphatic performance from the Gunners.

Indeed, Arsenal were brilliant on Wednesday evenin𓆉g, ⛦and the man of the moment was certainly Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Mikel Arteta hailed Lewis-Skelly after the game, while Arsenal fans were also impressed by the youngster.

However, amid all of the Lewis-Skelly hype, there is a p🐻layer who may not be too happy right now.

Kieran Tierney was left on the bench agไainst Monaco, despite the fact Arsenal were severely lacking in left-back options.

Speaking on Inside Gooners, Darren Bent has been discussing Tierney’s situation at Ar𒁃senal, and he says that the Scot’s days at the club are now❀ numbered and it’s time for him to leave.

Kieran Tierney needs to leave Arsenal

Bent spoke൩ about the man and his situation at Arsenal.

The pundit says that Tierney’s days are n𝓡umbered and he will realise that it’s time to leave the club.

“When an 18-year-old is picked instead of you, how will Kieran Tierney feel?ꦺ” Bent was asked.

“You know your days are numbered. It’s as simple as that. You know your d꧑ays are numbered. He’s an experienced international Kieran Tierney.

“He’s had great times at Arsenal. At one point a lot of people said he was one of our most important players. But the fact that you’re left on the bench for an🌟 18-year-old, that jusꦜt tells you.

“When Calafiori comes back that’s another body ahead of him, Jakub Kiwior, Zinchenko, Tierney will understand that. That was like the final nail where you go𝐆 ‘I think my time at Arsenal has come towards an end’,” Bent said.

Where could Kieran Tierney go?

Bent says that Tierney needs to lea🧸ve Arsenal, and if he is to go, he’ll need to find a new club.

Luckily,ಌ there are a number of options for Tierney across Europe.

Tierney spent a year on loan at Real Sociedad last season, and A𓃲rsenal have discussed using Tierney in a swap dea😼l to land long-term target, Martin Zubimendi.

Meanwhile, Tierney is open to a return to Celtic after leaving the Glasgow club in 2019.

It may not be the most glamourous move ever, but Galatasaray were interested in signing Tierney last summer too.

The full-back does have plenty of options open to him, and, as Bent says, he 🐼must now re🐷alise that his time at Arsenal is over.

Tierney was a key player for Arsenal during the early Mikel Arteta era, but, unfortunately, as this team has moved on and🐻 improved, he’s been left behind.

Fingers crossed Tierney can rediscoꩲver his best form wherever he decides to go 𝄹next.
